Parent Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences will be held twice a year (usually in November and April) and on an as-needed basis. Parents should be encouraged to talk with staff members on a regular basis and should feel free to call and speak with staff or the administrators at any time during the day. If a staff member is unavailable when a parent calls, it is important for the call to be returned the same day or at the earliest opportunity possible.

Conferences are routinely held once in the fall and once in the spring. Staff members are strongly encouraged to meet with the Director to discuss any special situations, or to keep the Director informed regarding a particular issue. The Director may attend parent-teacher conferences at the request of either party, or if the need arises. The Center will post a conference schedule at the front desk for parents to sign up. Techniques for leading parent-teacher conferences will be discussed at staff meetings.
